History

Impson Freight was founded in Durban in 1978 by Malcolm Impson. Gary Knight has subsequently been appointed as Managing Director in the position held by Malcolm Impson since the company was established. Gary Knight along with senior members of his staff, have been involved in the freight forwarding and customs clearance industry for a significant number of years prior to the formation of Impson Freight.

Through hard work, persistence, honesty and integrity the company has since developed on a national and international basis and has offices serving Durban, Durban Airport, Johannesburg, Johannesburg International Airport, Cape Town, Cape Town Airport, Pretoria and Germiston Customs Ports and has established agreements with a significant number of international freight forwarders of outstanding calibre.

In 2006 Impson Freight merged with Santova and subsequently changed its name to Impson Logistics in order to align itself with the group.
